Trainee Travel Awards
A limited number of travel grants is available for partial reimbursement of international travel costs.
Eligibility conditions:
- 1) Be a student or junior researcher (masters, PhDs or post-docs)
- 2) Be first author and principal contributor on the submitted paper
- 3) Be based and travel from outside Europe (defined as EU-27 + EFTA countries)
- 4) Attend the workshop
Application procedure
- 1) Obtain a written certification (letter) of your status (master, PhD or post-doc) from your supervisor
- 2) Scan and send this via email to all workshop chairs (christos AT rad DOT upenn DOT edu, moritzgw AT ieee DOT org, j DOT mourao-miranda AT cs DOT ucl DO ac DOT uk, dimitri DOT vandeville AT epfl DOT ch) with the title "PRNI 2012: application for travel grant".
- 3) The email must arrive at the latest on the 1st of May, 2012.
Evaluation and feedback
- Grants will be awarded competitively with respect to a ranking based on aggregate reviewer scores of papers.
- Authors of rejected papers will not be eligible for travel grants.
- Feedback will be sent shortly after acceptance notification, as early as possible before the camera-ready deadline.
